So, our blog needs a desperate face lift. I have been searching desperately for a new blog template because the one we have now is just not working for me. And I cannot find anything that I like that is also free. If any of you blogger savvy friends out there have any recommendations, I am happy to take them! In other words...I need help people! Thanks a million!

Not that my blog is great or anything, but I get my backgrounds from thecutestblogontheblock.com. They have a ton of different backgrounds to choose from.

ReplyDeleteSo "cutest blog on the block" has lots of great free backgrounds and so does "hot bliggity blog." I make my header at a site called scrapblog where you can use their backgrounds, stickers, fonts, etc. to make a cute header. The site used to be all free, but now they've switched to more of a store/buying stuff thing, but they still have a decent amount of stuff that's free and that's the stuff I use when I make my headers. You can see the recent header I designed on my blog. Usually it doesn't turn out that big... I need to talk to my cousin and figure out how to get it centered and smaller. If you decide you want to use that program give me a call and I'll tell you how to get your image off of it once you publish it since that part is a little tricky. Anyways, probably WAY more than you wanted to hear, but hopefully some of it will help! :)
I have a good one for something more unique... yummylolly.com, the cool thing about a lot of those is that they're templates not just backgrounds which means it will change your whole blog to match. They are a little quirky sometimes so be warned! Also I think I got my current one at thebackgroundfairy.com. Agreed about cutestblogontheblock and shabbyblogs, those are good ones.
